Learzo respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our platform.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content available on Learzo infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent.
Your notice must include the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL where it can be found on our platform
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, phone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
2. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent with the following information:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed content.
3. Repeat Infringer Policy
It is Learzo's policy to terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We track all DMCA notices and will take appropriate action against users who repeatedly violate copyright.
4. Designated Copyright Agent
All DMCA notices and counter-notifications should be sent to our designated copyright agent:
- Email: [email protected]
- Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice (or Counter-Notification)
Please allow up to 48 hours for our team to review and respond to your notice.
5. Good Faith Requirement
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney's fees.
If you are unsure whether the material you are reporting is actually infringing, we recommend consulting with an attorney before submitting a notice.
